Tables and Chairs
The Plaza Room can accommodate up to 150 people for dining and dancing (set up with tables and chairs) and up to 200 for theatre style (no tables, only chairs)
The Tamar Room can accommodate up to 80 people for dining and dancing (set up with tables and chairs) and up to 100 for theatre style (no tables, only chairs)
Our Neighborhood Centers can accommodate up to 50 people.
All decorating, set up, and delivery of supplies must be done within the contracted time. Tables & chairs will be set up before the contracted start start time. All events have to end 1 hour before contracted end time to ensure proper clean-up and trash removal. Additional hours can be added to contract up to 30 days prior to event date.
Plaza Room and Tamar Room rentals: We provide the tables and chairs, as well as the set-up and take down of provided furniture. Furniture will be set-up according to your desired floor plan. Table coverings are required and not provided. Staff will be on-site for the duration of the event ensuring that the terms of the contract are met and that all Association policies and procedures are followed.
Neighborhood Centers: Tables and chairs are available. Renters are responsible for set up and take down of tables and chairs.
Facility tours are by appointment only. The first step is to complete our rental questionnaire. You will then be contacted by our Facility Coordinator for details and you may schedule a tour at that point. Once you have visited the facility and have made the decision to hold your event with us, the Facility Coordinator will provide a contract. The security deposit is due at the time the contract is signed.
Alcohol may be served per Maryland liquor laws. No cash bar is permitted unless a 1 day liquor license is obtained through Howard County Government. Cash bar requires a TAMS or TIPS certified server. Alcohol consumption must be discontinued at least 1 hour before the end of your event. The renter assumes full responsibility for the strict adherence to all state liquor laws at all times.
